The vision of the COJIC ministry originates from a vision head pastor Harriet Dembo received
from God in the year of 2016. This vision entailed instructions from God to:
-Build and lead a ministry that would preach the coming of Jesus Christ
-Preach to the lost about the coming of Jesus
-Preach to those who know Christ about the coming of Jesus
-Prepare and equip the Church of the Coming of Jesus Christ
Our mission is to follow the path of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, becoming a representation of His presence in this world. With the Holy Spirit, we recognize our earthly purpose: to equip, train, and prepare believers for the unfolding mission of the Lord. This mission entails reaching the lost, preaching the gospel, practicing discipleship (Matthew 28:19-20), and baptizing them in the trinity in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Our commitment lies in preparing the world for the Coming of Jesus Christ Of Nazareth.
The Bible stands as God's message to humanity, written by human writers under the divine influence of the Holy Spirit. Given its divine inspiration, the Bible remains entirely truthful, free from error, and profoundly applicable to our everyday existence.
(Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Psalms 119:11, 89, 105; Proverbs 30:5; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 22:29; John 5:39; 16:13-15; 17:17)
God has eternally existed in a relationship with Himself. He manifests as a singular essence in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. While each member of the trinity fulfills unique roles, they share equal power and authority.
(1 John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19, 3:16-17)
God Is our creator. We are created in the image of God. He is the creator of the heavens and the Earth. The beginning and the end. He is mighty, all-knowing, always present and never changing, completely trustworthy, and most importantly, pure and perfect. We exist because of him, and he cares for us in all seasons and all times. He loves us deeply, shows us kindness, and always keeps his promises.
(Isaiah 45:18; Exodus 3:14; Numbers 23:19; Leviticus 11:44-45; 19:2; Psalm 11:4-6; Malachi 3:6; John 3:16; 4:24; 5:26)
Jesus Christ of Nazareth is both fully human and fully God. Through the Holy Spirit, He was conceived by the Virgin Mary. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Light. He is the sole means by which those who are lost are able to be reconciled with God. Jesus Christ of Nazareth lived a sinless life, allowing Him to reconcile our relationship with God. Jesus Christ of Nazareth came from His holy throne to be crucified for our sake. On the third day, through His resurrection, He conquered death, overcame all, and paved the pathway for eternal life.
(Isaiah 7:14, 53; Matthew 1:18-23; 3:17; 8:29; 14:33; 16:16; 28:5-6; Luke 1:27-35; 22:70; 24:46-47; John 1:1, 14; 10:30; 11:25-27; 17:1-5; Acts 1:9; 2:22-24; 7:55-56; Romans 1:3-4; 3:23-26; 8:1-3)
The Holy Spirit confirms our connection with Christ. The Holy Spirit leads and guides us to understand the truth. The Holy Spirit convicts individuals of their wrongdoings and reveals God's righteousness. The Holy Spirit comforts us, bestows spiritual gifts upon us, and shapes us to resemble Christ more closely. We recognize the Holy Spirit through the fruits of His presence, speaking in tongues, and various spiritual gifts.
(Genesis 1:2; Psalms 51:11; 139:7; Isaiah 61:1-3; Joel 2:28-32; Mark 1:10; Luke 1:35; 4:1; 11:13; 12:12; John 15:26; 16:7-14; Acts 1:5, 8; 2:1-4; 13:2; Romans 8:9-11, 14-16, 26-27)
God created humans in pure and righteousness, but through deliberate disobedience and sin in the Garden of Eden, our sole chance of redemption lies in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Repentance involves a sincere decision to abandon sin completely and to embrace Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Through repentance, each person obtains forgiveness for their sins and attains salvation.
(Genesis 1:26-31; 3:17; Acts 2:38, 3:19; Romans 5:12-21)

(Isaiah 1:18; 53:5-6; 55:7; Matthew 1:21; 27:22-66, 28:1-6; Luke 1:68-69; 2:28-32; John 1:12; 3:16, 36; 5:24; Acts 2:21; 4:12; 16:30-31; Romans 1:16-18)
We highly prioritize prayer. We believe that prayer enables us to connect with God directly. Because of Jesus's salvation, we no longer require an intermediary between God and ourselves. We can approach him directly. We hold the belief that prayer is essential in our lives. We highly believe that we are the intercessors of this world as children of God.
(Psalms 145:18; Proverbs 15:29; Matthew 7:11; Luke 18:1; Romans 8:26; Philippians 4:6; Colossians 4:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Baptism is a symbolic gesture to publicly declare one’s faith and salvation. We believe in water baptism as a public profession for the believer and as a representation of the believer’s identity with the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord.
(Matthew 28:19)
Communion, also known as The Lord's Supper, holds a special significance during which bread and juice symbolically represent the body and blood of Christ in a spiritual sense. Believers partake in Communion to commemorate Christ's sacrifice on the cross.
(Matthew 26:26-28; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 8:36-38, 10:47-48; 1 Corinthians 10:16)
Jesus Christ will return to Earth physically and visibly to assert his authority over the Earth. The timing of His return is not revealed in scripture; thus, we anticipate his coming every day.
(Matthew 24:30, 26:63-64: Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8)
The coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, as stated above, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years.
(Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:27; Matthew 24:30; Revelation 1:7; Revelation 19:11-14; 20:1-6)
This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel, and the establishment of universal peace.
(Ezekiel 37: 21-22; Zephaniah 3: 19-20; Romans 11: 26-27; Isaiah 11: 6-9; Psalms 72: 3-8; Micah 4: 3-4)
There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast, and the false prophet, will be consigned to the everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
(Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:11-15; Revelation 21:8)
Human beings for eternal existence will either be forever separated from God due to sin or united with God through forgiveness and salvation. Hell signifies eternal separation from God, while Heaven represents eternal union with God; Heaven and hell are real realms of everlasting existence.
We strongly uphold the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman, as well as the significance of nurturing strong, loving Christian families.
